After graduating with a degree in business from Ohio University in 1968, Lawrence “Larry” B. Levey moved to New York City to begin a career as a banker. After being scolded for conversing with a vice president just a few years his senior, Mr. Levey decided the banking business culture wasn’t for him. So Larry moved back to his hometown, married his college sweetheart, and started over as an apprentice to a local appraiser, broker, and investor in commercial real estate.
Four years later, after completing a number of small but successful commercial real estate projects in Northeast Ohio, Mr. Levey founded Levey and Company, d/b/a LRC Realty, Inc. Since its humble beginnings, LRC has grown to a full-service real estate development company with a staff of 30 full time associates and assets operating or under construction in Ohio, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Florida.
LRC provides full development services to dozens of name-brand retailers and has developed over 5 million square feet of retail properties. LRC continues to expand, providing a premium customer experience for its clients.
