University Edge is a 578-bed purpose-built student housing community focused on serving the students of the University of Akron. University Edge is located directly across the street from campus and features fully-amenitized student housing, with two bed/two bath, three bed/three bath, and four bed/four bath, furnished floor plans, as well as a clubhouse with free WIFI, outdoor grilling areas, a state-of-the-art fitness center, free tanning domes, an activity room with a pool table, gaming station and big-screen TVs, and a computer lab with free printing. The project also features several thousand square feet of ground floor retail space which offers national and local retailers and restaurants, including Chipotle, Penn Station Subs, Panda, Pulp Smoothie, UniversiTees, Cricket Wireless, Amazon, and Arby’s.
